If you’re a young professional in your 20s or 30s, interested in microfinance and philanthropy, and want to get involved with a group of like-minded, socially-conscious young professionals in New York, we invite you to join the Hebrew Free Loan Society’s Next Generation (“Next Gen”) Network.
The Next Gen Network gathers together for social and educational events several times each year, providing an opportunity for you to learn about HFLS’s work, microfinance in NYC, and issues affecting low-income New Yorkers. Check out the photos at right from past Next Gen events, from a site visit to HFLS borrowers’ businesses in Crown Heights, Brooklyn to a Purim party and fundraiser.

The Network is led by the Next Gen Steering Committee, which is committed to supporting HFLS through events, fundraising, and volunteer work. The Steering Committee plans and coordinates programs for the Network.
